Europe’s one of leading exhibition and event centres, the NEC (The National Exhibition Centre) was the host to this year’s FIT Show, becoming the biggest door and window event for the year in the entire of UK. The facade and fenestration industry was a witness to the creativity and innovation in the field. The event was spread out in halls no 6, 7 and 8. The event welcomed more than 12,000 visitors across three days. The noted fabricators and installers from the industry were able to interact with the new additions while socialising with the old people in the industry. There were conversations over new developments, technological advancements as well as creative displays. Around 250 companies and people from the industry exhibited this year.

FIT Show Awards rewarded the best of the best.Six awards in total were up for grabs and were judged independently by a team of exhibition experts including NEC B2B Marketing Manager, Gemma Piggott, as well as NEC Account Manager, Liz Cawley. AluK won the award for ‘Most Effective Use of Social & Digital Media.’ After a successful show in 2017, FIT will be back in 2019.
