HiLITE Mall Bags CWAB Award

HiLITE Mall has received the Construction World Architect and Builder (CWAB) Award 2016 for the ‘most noteworthy project’ under the retail category. M. A. Mehaboob, Director, HiLITE Builders, received the award from Sunita Narain, Director General, Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), at a function held on August 11, 2016, in Mumbai. International architects, leading developers, consul generals and many municipal commissioners were a part of the event.

The award was finalized by a jury who comprised of Architect Hafeez Contractor; Russell Gilchrist, Principal I Design, Director, Gensler; Mili Majumdar, Managing Director, Green Business Certification Institute; Roshni Udyavar Yehuda, Head, Rachana Sansad Institute of Environmental Architecture; and Anita Arjundas, Managing Director & CEO, Mahindra Life spaces.

To select the ‘NOTEWORTHY’ projects for this year, features such as green, amenities, materials, technology and design have carried special weight age in the final selection.

This achievement is a feather in HiLITE’s cap considering that just the first phase of the mall is open and it further adds fuel to our aspirations as the second phase would be live soon.

HiLITE Mall

HiLITE Mall is a flagship project of the HiLITE Group. Rated high on brand mix, selling volume and architectural brilliance, phase 1 of the mall is already open. With a built-up area of 7 lakh sq. ft. and a leas able area of 4 lakh. sq. ft., it houses more than 100 national and international brands. In the 1st phase, the mall has generated employment opportunities for 3, 000 people. HiLITE Mall has introduced some of the premium brands like Lifestyle, Pantaloons and Home Centre in Kerala. Anchors associated in Phase 2 are Shoppers Stop, Marks & Spencer, Spar & Cinepolis.

Dubai-based Landmark group has a striking presence in the mall with brands like Lifestyle, Splash, Home Centre and Max with a total area of 1, 00, 000 sq. ft. The Aditya Birla brands have a combined presence of 43, 000 sq. ft., Arvind Lifestyle brands have 8000sq. ft. and future group brands are spread across 20000 sq. ft. The family entertainment centre spans across 20, 000 sq. ft. and the food court comes with a total area of 35, 000 sq. ft. On completion, the mall would have 14 lakh sq. ft. built up space.
