VitrA, a Turkey-based sanitary ware brand, has come up with “The Nest – Design” series for the Indian market. The series has been designed by Pentagon Design, a Finnish design agency. The series offers various special products for hospitals, hotels and other public buildings considering their special needs. The series features a multifunctional grab bar, wall-hung WC pan, mirror and faucet that provides easy access and control by virtue of its design and position.

Equipped with smart functionality, the Nest – Design offers shelves that serve as alternative storage spaces. The handle of the faucets in the collection is specially designed to make it easy for children, physically handicapped, and elderly people to turn on and off the water flow.

The mobile unit comprises two drawers that come with water resistant acrylic trays, which make it suitable for wet use. Besides, they are easy to clean and maintain. The unit has wheels to give mobility, and can be locked to prevent skidding and ensure safe use. In addition, a water-resistant acrylic top surface allows the unit to be used as a hygiene rest area after a shower.

VitrA is a new entrant in the Indian market with its wide product range of internationally inspired sanitary ware, bathroom furniture, bathtubs and faucets. The company is planning to expand its business with huge investment in brand building and foray into more cities in India. Notably, VitrA manufactures 5 million units of sanitary ware, 350,000 bathtubs, 370,000 units of bathroom furniture, 3 million faucets and 2.5 million bathroom accessories every year. 50 percent of its production is exported to over 75 countries worldwide.
